Parking is available in front of the complex. The unit is on the first floor of Bay 8, located on the west side of the building.
rate/deposit policy
All appointments are flat rate. Most pieces range from $170-$250 depending on size, placement, colour, etc. Please request if you need a quote when booking your appointment. All appointments require a non-refundable $50 deposit. ($100 deposit required for larger pieces). The deposit will come off the final cost of the tattoo. You get one rebook if you request to reschedule your appointment. If you no-show or cancel within 72 hours you will lose your deposit. If you require multiple design changes or a completely different design a secondary deposit will be required.

before your appointment
These tips will help you be as prepared as possible for your upcoming tattoo appointment, and we also want you to feel relaxed and comfortable. Loveyland is an inclusive, safe space and we expect all clients and artists to be respectful and kind. We are excited to share this time and space with you and want to make sure your experience is personal and positive!
preparing your skin:
Get hydrated! It's always a good idea to make sure you're getting enough water but you definitely want to stay hydrated on the days leading up to your apt so that your skin is also hydrated. This will help with the tattooing process, healing and the overall appearance of your tattoo. Moisturize! Keep your skin hydrated from the outside too. Apply moisturizer the night before or morning of your appointment. *Please don't apply immediately before your appointment because the lotion might not have time to be fully absorbed your skin and could gunk up the needle. If you feel comfortable, you could even exfoliate and shave, however this is not expected of you and it is very important that you do not cut yourself while shaving as this could affect the placement of your tattoo. Rest! Get a good night’s sleep before your appointment and avoid partying the night before. Trust me, your tattooing experience will feel much better if you are not hungover.
preparing your self:
Eat! Please eat a well-balanced meal before your appointment so that your body can better manage the pain. It might not seem like it, but getting tattooed actually requires a decent amount of energy! Arrive sober! You will be turned away if you arrive for your tattoo under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Please do not use numbing creams as this can negatively affect the outcome of your tattoo. If you are concerned about pain, you could take a pain reliever medication such as acetaminophen. Come alone! Loveyland is a tiny, shared studio space and in order to limit the amount of contact and to keep our guests comfortable we ask that you arrive alone for your apt. Dress appropriately! Wear loose-fitting, comfortable, and clean clothing. Consider the placement of your tattoo and make sure it is accessible. Please don't wear clothing that you are concerned about possible ink stains. Bring entertainment! You might want to have some items to distract yourself or keep yourself entertained during your tattoo. Consider bringing, headphones, a book, download a movie, or create a playlist and don't forget to charge your phone. Schedule yourself extra time! Try not to schedule any important commitments immediately after your apt so you can give yourself some extra time to cool down after your appointment. Also, please consider that sometimes things don't always go as scheduled and your appointment might run late.
while being tattooed:
Do not touch the area being tattooed! Once your skin has been cleaned and prepared, please avoid touching the area. Any contact, other than with sterile equipment/ supplies could lead to contamination. Do not touch the equipment! Please do not reach for or touch any of the equipment used for your tattoo as you risk contamination. Stay still! The more you move around the longer your session will take and the harder it will be for your artist to do their best work. So please be patient and sit still.
COVID-19/ sickness policy:
Reschedule ASAP if sick! If you are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, or have had a recent close contact please email stephlove.art@gmail.com and reschedule your appointment ASAP. Please arrive on time, and wash your hands for 30 seconds immediately upon entering the studio. Wash and sanitize as often as you would like and do your best to avoid touching your face. *** Deposit/Cancellation Policy also applies to any COVID-19 related rescheduling/cancellations.
